Today, that vision has evolved into Garage Tech Academy - a structured, professional, and scalable education institution built to prepare Africans for real careers in the global tech economy.

Garage Tech Academy exists to provide structured, practical, and accessible tech education that transforms Africans with little or no technical background into competent, job-ready professionals through mentorship, real-world projects, and career-focused training.
Built for outcomes.
Success for us means a lot more than numbers. It is the impact experienced and long-term tech journey of our graduates.
As a direct result of The Garage, I experienced a major push in my skill capability. The mode of lecturing was friendly and engaging and i was able to go from a complete beginner to being able to build real projects.
The bootcamp helped me improve my confidence, communication and tech skill especially in frontend with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It also exposed me to new ideas, opportunities, and connections with other tech-minded individuals. Overall, the experience motivated me to continue learning and growing, infact it motivated me enough to dive into backend on my own , the passion and enthusiasm had remain till this day
I'd watched a hundred YouTube tutorials and built nothing. The structure here forced me to ship every week. I'm now building agents for a fintech in Lagos.
Your career doesn't start someday.
It starts with a decision.
Applications for the next cohort are open. Spaces are limited as we accept a small cohort per track to keep mentorship real.
